You can do it online. To do it online you go to this link:
http://www.java.com/en/download/windows_ie.jsp
and hit ¨begin download¨ a small installer will be downloaded into your computer. Then u open the installer which will proceed to retrieve some files from internet and in 5-15 minutes(if u have dsl if not then 45 minutes++) it will be installed. Be sure to restart your computer after installing.

get the latest version of JRE and JDK or SDK with Netbeans at http://java.com
