I'd like your thoughts on what, if anything, the death of Saddam will change things in the world. thanks in advance and happy new year

I think there's gonna be a lot of riots and bombing in Iraq.... Saddam was a good leader for Sunni but bad for Shia + Kurds. He was a Sunni btw.

For the US: I think a lot of ppl or countries will hate us.

It's yet another in an apparently endless series of war crimes committed by the GW Bush Administration.

If GW and the principals responsible for the illegal wars in Afghanistan and Iraq don't upon their respective exits from office suffer the same fate as Saddam Hussein; if the Iraqi people don't overthrow the current Iraqi regime and install for themselves a legitimate government, all is lost.

This is a distraction by our wonderful goverment. Like throwing a bone to us to take our minds off the war.

i dont think it makes much change...if it does then i think it will be that ppl living on that side of the world can feel somwhat safe and wont be afraid of what HE will do next....oh yea, happy new year to u 2!

Well I'm sure it makes his victims familys feel better but its not going to help the war in Iraq.

um maybe well where they executed him it is tomorrow and that is December 30 witch is my birthday. it kind of creeps me out that they killed an important man on my birthday. well happy new years t u to.

Not at all. Ya know, I'm watching the news stories about it, but I don't see any PROOF he was executed. WHERE'S THE PROOF??? Not ONE stinkin' picture of his hanging anywhere!
I DEMAND PROOF of his execution!!!
