You can eat for $10 each. The spaghetti and meatballs are very good. My daughter likes the lasagna.
The ambiance is better than Denny's and the food, which is Italian of course, is of a higher quality. In other words, you are not going to get a farm boy's meal.
The servings are ample so you won't starve. Salad and bread sticks come with the meal.
Denny's...the geriatric crowd goes there as do the truck drivers. Take her somewhere a little more up market this once.

The Olive Garden is not expensive compared to many fine restaurants. They actually have an all you can eat soup, salad, and hot breadsticks for just $5.99. It's a very popular choice and you get to try all 3 of the soups. They also offer many great pasta's priced at $8.00 and some higher, but this is quite reasonable when you consider many of the menu prices at Denny's are in this same price range. Don't you think your girlfriend deserves better than Denny's at least once in a while? The atmosphere is really nice and adds to the enjoyment of the whold dining out experience!

The Olive Garden is my favorite restaurant. Meals are about $13 each, and worth every penny. They always have 'limited time' meals, they change every 3 months or so. They are unusual combinations and unique. Every meal comes with salad and bread sticks. Meals are generous, so you'll have leftovers for the next day. I have enjoyed every meal I've tried at Olive Garden.
Oh, and the ambience is much better than Denny's, this is probably why your girl wants to go there. She's looking for a little romance, give her some.

I hope your girl reads this and dumps your cheap assipoo!
(I'm kidding...my daughter told me to put that). lol
Olive Garden used to be real good a few years back, the salads were generous with lots of variety in them and the breadsticks were soft, fresh and hot. These days, it seems what we get in the salad is lettuce with a jalapeno pepper or two and a couple of olives and slice of pale tomato. The breadsticks are barely warmed over and hard and chewy. I HATE Olive Garden now.
It seems every time management changed, the place got worse, no matter where we lived, and we've lived in a few different states in the past 20 years.

The Olive Garden is so good. That is my favorite restaurant, it's not too expensive 10-15 dollars per plate depending on where you live in my area it's around 8 dollars. You can go there in jeans and a shirt and be just fine, it's really good though. If it makes her happy, go where she wants to go this time.

If you are worried about cost suggest a luncheon date. I don't like to overspend on basic sustenance and usually most places have a cheaper menu before 3:00 p.m. Olive garden has only slightly smaller portions but the savings are great! Lasagna, salad and soups have always been good in my area.

It's considered "moderate" as far as price goes, but the only things good to eat are the bread, soup and salad. Everything else is horrible.

it's not too fancy. It's probably about as fancy as applebees or outback steakhouse. It'll cost about ten to fifteen dollars a person probably.

I think they are over rated..........but it's obvious your girlfriend would like to try it...........so I guess you could go to Denny's and show your girlfriend how much you really care
