We've know each other for 11 years, But we lost contact the last four, He was the guy i had a little kids crush on since i was literally 4 years old, and years passed, we became really good friends and all and then a week before the last time i saw him 4 years ago he found out about the whole "crush" thing, then we went to diffrent schools and lost contact. Now we're in 11th grade, me 16, him 17.. Point is, we havn't talked since then, until christmas day.. We bumped into eachother at a getty, we talked and talked and talked, but the problem? he has a girlfriend, which by the way they make 10 months today.. my other problem? all the feelings i had 4 years ago have come rushing back, and to tell you the truth, it sucks. am pretty sure he doesn't even remember about me liking him but i dont know what to do. He makes me feel like i did last i saw him. So my question isnt only what should i do, but what to expect if i keep talking to him.. Please help i need advise!

Keep talking to him, but do not take things any further while he has a g/f. Be his friend if you can handle just friends with him. If he has feelings for you, or develops feelings for you, then you'll know. Then he will have to make a choice. Don't disrespect yourself by falling all over him, or being too flirtatious. Try to put yourself in the other girl's shoes - how would you feel if that was your bf? It's not hopeless - but it is a delicate situation. Take it slow, if it's meant to be - it will be.

it's probably a bad idea to even talk to him at all. he is happy with his new girlfriend and it isn't very fair for you to come around and try to steal him. and when you say your feelings came back, maybe you remember him but i'm sure someone is a whole different person by 4 years. he has probably changed. i think if you talked to him you would just like him more and torture yourself and waste time waiting around, being jealous, and hoping he would break up with the girlfriend and be miserable. i think you'd be happier if you just didn't talk to him anymore and find someone new.
