I tried using water and getting all the air bubbles out. But once the water dried out, air bubbles developed, and now when you're at an angle you don't see the background because of the air inbetween the glass and background. How do I fix this so there are no bubbles?

i usually cut the background to fit inside the black plastic tank casing. so it slides under it snugly then tape the sides with clear tape. you can also use a spray on adhesive in a thin layer.

I'm not positive about the wallpaper but I know that some pet shops sell rolls of laminated landscape scenes. I had no trouble taping that to the back of my tank (with double sided tape usually or regular tape secured on the edges).

I hope that that helps,

Dry everything off and use gift wrap tape. The one that says "INVISIBLE" on it.
At the corners of the tank ON THE OUTSIDE, use the tape to secure it to the sides of the tank. Press it all down firmly so that it doesn't show.

Works like a charm.

Most people (myself included) use vaseline or cooking oil. I use cooking oil. Just a little bit goes a long way, and it sticks real well. Vaseline works good, but is really hard to clean off if you ever change your background. Vaseline dries up and gets all crusty. Cooking oil is really easy to clean up.
