I've check the power supply and all the sockets but I don't know why it keeps on restarting by itself.

Flaky power supply.
Something overheating.
Failing hard drive.

Failing RAM would typically get you a blue screen. I would change power supplies first.

It could be that the CPU is getting too hot. Mine used to do it and when I turned it back on, it was already 100+ degrees so I needed to put in a new fan too keep it cool. When you start your computer it usually has a screen that comes up and gives you quick status of your computers components. Look over it and find the cpu and if it is like 90+ degrees, then it is most likely overheating. If you open up your computer, just make sure that you don't touch the motherboard for anything. Static can fry the whole thing instantly...or so I have been told.

If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.
