The last minutes of Saddam Hussein
Saddam (as the noose is put around his neck): Ya Allah (Oh God).
Someone in the audience: Mercy be on those who pray for Mohammed and the household of Mohammed (Everyone repeats the prayer, including Saddam)
Executioner and two people in the audience: And hasten his return (the Mehdi), curse his enemy and grant victory to his son, Muqtada, Muqtada, Muqtada! (This is a common Sadrist chant.)
Saddam (smirking): Muqtada?
NSA Muwafaq Al-Rubai'i: To Hell!
Saddam: (laughing)
Prosecutor Munqidh Al-Far'awn: Please, no.
Muwafaq Al-Rubi'i: Long live Mohammed Baqir Al-Sadr!
Someone in the audience: To Hell!
Saddam (solemnly recites the Shahada prayer): I witness that there is no god but Allah, and that Mohammed is the messenger of Allah.
I witness that there is no god but Allah, and that Mohammed is the- (trap door is opened).
Audience: Prayers for Mohammed and the household of Mohammed.
Someone: The tyrant has fell. May Allah's curse be upon him.
Someone: No. No. Stay back.
Someone: Leave him for 8 minutes. Don't take him down.
Someone: Everyone. Stay back.

These questions are getting old very fast! There is no rational, intelligent, and logical comparison between Saddam the criminal tyrant and Bush the legitmate President of a soverign nation. Saddam was rightfully convicted of the deaths of 148 Shiites. It is well-known that he ordered the deaths of many more thousands of innocent people. I am satisfied with the new reality that Saddam is dead. I am not a fan of President Bush and I strongly disagree with the War in Iraq. This comes from a proud Republican (moderate conservative). It is noted that regardless of your feelings about this war, it is a WAR. In war, people die and are seriously injured. It is frustrating to keep explaining this to individuals like yourself, but obviously it is not getting through to you. War is bad. This war is very bad! Bush is not a war criminal. Is Bush guilty of any wrongdoing? Perhaps. I do believe that Bush should be fully investigated for his part in the initial bad intelligence that led to this horrible war that I have always disagreed with. But, Bush should not be tried as a war criminal. If an impeachable offense is found, then he should face American justice. Saddam's death was just; however, it will not change the war situation on the ground. We need a new strategy that involves getting out of Iraq ASAP!!!

good question, Saddam gassed thousands of persons, Bush sent in a militia to eliminate Saddam from potential after the UN and international places like Russia and France have been doing sneaky deals to circumvent UN sanctions from working for oh, the final 13 years. to no longer point out teh consistent cat-and-mouse video games with teh UN weapons inspector. Saddam DID help worldwide terrorism, and after 9/11 it became clean if popular civilians minding their very own employer here at homestead in teh u . s . a . weren't risk-free, no person everywhere backing terrorism became going to be risk-free of their homestead the two, era. sure, i think of one bullet might have resolved the Saddam subject a protracted time in the past, yet it is against the regulations. all the human beings and US & Allied squaddies killed with the aid of insurgents and distant places fighters in Iraq considering the fact that are actually not Bush's fault, yet they are the clarification the u . s . a . can not withdraw until the job is accomplished. Or it eliminates the extensive-unfold tension technique of reaction as a achievable determination interior the destiny. which ability whilst different international locations over there initiate lobbing WMDs around, they use one on us, and we take them off the map. The undesirable subject some national replace of WMDs is the unprotected civilians die on an identical time as the leaders are risk-free of their shelters. i don't have a seem after, i'm guessing you do no longer, so for all persons, a conflict related to WMDs is a foul subject, and combating nutjobs in the past they acquire and use them is our in basic terms determination. The UN did no longer something on Iraq, they did no longer something on North Korea, and could do no longer something with Iran, different than meaningless words of direction. If everybody has a extra helpful answer, enable's pay attention it, PLEASE!

I agree, Bush did the right thing for the wrong reason. He needed a scape goat for 9/11. If Saddam had weopons of mass distruction as claimed by Bush, why didn't he use them to defend himself. Bush should have pulled out of Iraq once he captured Saddam. One other thing though, I thought it was against UN policy for a leader of one nation to place a hit on aleader of another country, remember Bush wanted Saddam "Dead Or Alive".

Saddam is the winner in this contest, but Bush is a close second. The difference is that Saddam never claimed to be a nice guy.

I said this 6 years ago. You wait about another 6-8 years and it will come out that the Bush administration is the crookedest administration in our history. I'm not just talking about Bush Jr. I mean the whole gang.
Actually it's already started, little by little their little secrets are leaking out and we will know the truth a few years from now.

The weapons of mass destruction in Iraq haven't been found. Bush admitted this.
The hasty action of America should be judged first.
Other allied countries shoud reflect on their decision as well.
