I got the very very very first one when it came out then right after they got yano a ton of new kinds. this year i got a nano figuring there wasnt much more to make, now they have the shuffle thats ridiculously TINY. damn you apple.

Haha, yeah I know thats life.... it happends to me too. Apple usally updates or makes somthing new every 6mounths, so expect there to be better ipods/versions within a short time. The reason is that the times are changing and there constanly working on them to improve and better there ipods... I also read from a book that you shouldnt get the first generation ipods becuase then you will have more chance of getting bugs, or messing up intil they inprove it in the new generations.. I got the new Ipod 30GB black for christmas, I love it but soon enough there probally gonna make a widescreen, or touch screen ipod and then mine will be all old...I know its agervating, becusase that happends to me all the time.. But I guess thats life and theres not many ways i could tell apple stop making new ipods lol.

Thats the way it works in the electronics world. Unless you have the money to buy every newer or better model that comes out, you're stuck with what you bought. It's always good to make sure that what you do end up choosing lasts you a long while.

Well atleast you didn't buy an ipod mini and then two months later they come up with the nano for the same price.
That's what happened to me.

i got one of the first zens it cost $230.00 30 gig now they have them playing movies.dammit I'm going to play the waiting game they will have them flying by next year.
