If so, what was he saving them for...a special day (as I heard a comedian say). Why didn't he use them. I mean, wasn't a war with the US a special enough occasion?

The only weapons of mass destruction that we are sure Saddam had were the ones that the US sold to him to fight the Iranians and that he used to gas the Kurds. However, those chemical weapons, such as VX, sarin, and mustard gas, have a shelf-life of only a few months. They certainly would have degraded to an unusable state by now. Also, the CWC of 1993 banned most chemical weapons and HEAVILY regulated the others. It would have been VERY difficult for Saddam to acquire additional weapons. Also, it isn't likely that Iraq had developed nuclear capability. The US hasn't found any wmds in Iraq yet, and neither did the UN.

Also, I agree that he would have used them in a last ditch attempt to defend his position and life. Saddam was not captured until several months after the fall of Baghdad so he could have easily collected his wmds from syria if he really did leave them there.

Any one with half a brain can realize that there were NO Weapons of Mass destruction. And not only was there no WMD, I highly doubt that Bush ever thought there were. He used us (America) to get back as Saddam because of everything that happened back when his daddy was President.
Everything about Bush's presidency has stunk and anyone paying any attention to the world around them can smell it. Not only was there "scandal" surrounding his election (the First Time). But he used 911 to gather support to take down Suddam for personal reasons. Then He claimed WMD. Now it's "democracy in iraq" blah blah blah. Bush doesn't give a **** about us (the american people). And APPARENTLY the majority of us are to stupid/ignorant to see the truth. How he got reelected is BEYOND me.

No they were moved to Syria, this was confessed to by some of the leaders of the military. They were taken out on planes that the CIA were aware of that left the nation to Syria

And of course since various labs, delivery systems and the such were found, one has to know these labs used to have something in them and we found the scientist that were making them, Anyone should know they were there.

The trouble with ( and still the trouble) the Iraq army did not have the ability to make decisions in the field. So when the US took out communicatins very early, they had little ability to fight.

He did use them on the Kurds and he did hide them. For future use and long before the US went in to Iraq. It's not a matter of me believing in something. It is a fact and has been proven.

WMDs were an excuse for the US to establish a large military presence in the mideast. It was a poorly designed plan, but it worked.

Yes, how does Bush know? America has the receipts.

Ri, btw, I am not a liberal. Don't miscontrue my logic. America and its recepits were Bush's impetus to invade Iraq.

Awww, more thumbs down, now I'll never get a job, o man I care what you little 4th graders think. It's unfortuante you are open to other opinions. Gimme some more thumbs down, let's set a goal. Let's try to get at least 20 thumbs down, c'mon I know if you liberals unite you can do it. I know how you all love to censor speech contrary to your own. Wait no, don't do it, I forgot employers scour Yahoo! answers to find a number of people that disagree with me, which will thereafter be used to determine whether or not I will be hired. LOL, hooray for thumbs down, keep em comin baby.

His generals were told to use chemical agents but they refused. The main WMD's were sent to Syria on passenger planes. One of Saddam's generals admitted this. Also if you had month's to hide A few truckloads of materials somewhere in a huge desert do you think you could? Take a deck of playing cards and hide them somewhere on your property (remember you must not have them found. ) now invite a friend over and tell them to find the deck of cards. I bet they will never be found. The lack of WMD's proves Saddam hid them. He had some that were inspected by UN inspectors. And chemical agents he ordered dispersed killed 180,000 Kurds in the north of Iraq. They were there. that is not in doubt.

If you'd pay better attention to the news, you'd have known that WMDs were found earlier this year. Cannot answer why they weren't used on our troops, thank God they weren't. Plus, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to guess where the sarin gas that was intercepted from Syria into Jordan (enough to kill 80,000 people) must have come from Iraq. Cannot answer why they weren't used on our troops

If they had any they were very well hidden...that is not to say that they were amassing the materials to make weapons but I kinda think the whole excursion if just for that was a bust...

He had almost 2 million people killed. He was a weapon of mass destruction and very evil.

Yes, the thing is, he didn't hide them in Iraq, he just moved him over the border to places where he knew that the American and World public would NOT let us look for them, kinda like Nixon not going into Cambodia in Vietnam.
