Nothing Compares to you- originally done by Prince, copied by Sinead O'conner

For the love of you- originally done by Isley Bros. copied by Whitney Huston

Purple Rain- Originally done by Prince, copied by Randy Crawford ( In fact most of Randy's hits were copies or remakes of songs by men. She redid : Holding back the years by Simply Red, Gimmie the night by George Benson, Who's crying now by Journey and several others that I just can't think of right now.)
