I take a break, but not for long...trudging on works really well for me when I remember that I get by with a little help from my friends :)

A little bit of both. :)

Usually, I trudge on because I have to and, in retrospect, things usually aren't as bad as they seem.

However, I do take a break sometimes if I feel like I really need one..just to clear my head...but that is only every once in a while.

If I feel like something isn't working right. I'll stop...regroup, rethink, and reapproach. I had to do that with my current project. Something wasn't right, but I could not place my finger on it...so I stopped, did some research, and voila, I figured out what was wrong. : )
