Make sure that your little one receives plenty of 'tummy time.' With the increased awareness of SIDS, more parents are diligently lying their babies on their backs which results in the bald spot and slightly mishaped heads. By placing them in different positions such as on their tummy for play time, you alleviate the stress on their heads.
Hope it helps.

This is a normal thing that occurs around 3-4 months. It is caused from the baby spending a lot of time on his/her back. The best thing you can do is to change the baby's position during the waking hours. (Remember: baby's should ALWAYS sleep on their backs to prevent SIDS). Make sure your baby gets lots of supervised tummy time during the day.
Your baby may still get the bald spot. It will resolve in a couple of months when he/she starts crawling around and walking.

Tummy time while the baby is awake may help. But if the baby cant roll over dont let them sleep on their belly. Even if they get a bald spot, hair grows back.

Those "bald" spots are caused by the baby sitting in the same position and the hair is rubbing itself away.Move the baby from side to side and in different positions as to where the baby is not always sitting with his/her head in the same position.Mother of four. This is the truth. The hair will regrow but you have to stop letting the baby sit around without moving positions from time to time, frequently. No biggie.A few days and the hair will start to regrow.Leaving a child sitting in a car seat all the time will cause 'bald" spots and make their head FLAT.No joke! AND it is dangerous to let your baby sleep unattended on his or her back because of a childhood fatality called "Sudden Infant Death Syndrome" or SIDS.Allow your baby to lay flat on his or her stomach but be there because if they are not strong enough to support their weight of their head, they may suffocate. But, it is good exercise for them and time on the tummy eliminates GAS which causes lots of crying and unnecessary pain for your child.Good Luck!

too much to read so good luck. Alternate sides baby sleeps on, you can roll a thin blanket and place it behind baby's back to prevent rolling back and also in front of stomach all making sure blankets are low enough. Also don't leave baby lying down so much pick him/her up.

Becasue of SIDs we put babies on thier back. They naturally move the head side to side when sleeping. There isn't much you can do. If your baby can keep a hat on its your best bet. My daughter's back of the head feels like it has been shaved. There is no way she'll keep a hat on...can't wait for a mullet!
