Sometimes I can get my neighbors WIFI and sometimes I cant. Are their tricks or anything I can buy to pick up my neighbors WIFI farther away with a better connection?.....

High gain antennas are bidirectional. That is, if you purchase a high gain antenna, it not only focuses the transmitted signal farther out, but also has better receive sensitivity, so you will receive signals from twice as far away, perhaps an extra 150-250 feet.

You can also look into a homemade "cantenna" if you have the time and desire to play around with that, perhaps that's an option.

Lastly, hopefully your neighbor knows you're doing this and you have an agreement. If not, be careful. If their network is wide open, shame on THEM. Go for it, it's unlicensed spectrum after all. If their network is encrypted and you're attempting to break it, then shame on YOU, that crosses the line and is illegal.
