How many of you feel that it would have been a worse punishment if Saddam had to be in a prison cell in solitary confinement locked down 24/7 with no privilages at all for life? If I was in that situation I would find that far worse because your entire life you would be starting at 4 walls a toliet, sink and bed. Couldn't do anything but that and eat. Hell on earth. Death would be quicker and the easy way out.

I told you. Have him in prison wearing an I love NY T shirt waving an American flag every day....Then, throw a "D" battery at him once each day. Aim for the head!!! Keep him in Jail.....Heh Heh...

I think the real hell is better for him than hell on earth. My beliefs as a Christian say he didn't take the easy way out. He will spend an eternity in hell. Earth was good to him.

No, the international rules don't allow for inhumane treatment of prisoners. He would be complaining and dragging on the courts and appeal boards for years. And the attempt to break him out would be an issue. Now, his followers have no hope.

He's in hell where he belongs. Prison for life is nothing compared to burning in hell for all eternity.
