Hola! Cabo San Lucas (also known as Los Cabos) is a very beautiful, clean, safe, tourist town in Mexico. There are tons of things to do here, most of the hotels are fully contained, so you can chose to remain on the resort grounds or venture into town. Depending on what you like to do, there is something here for everyone. Have a great holiday!

Los Cabos also includes San Jose Del Cabo...

It is very nice down there. The best things to do in San Jose are shopping, surfing and golf.

The best things to do in Cabo are shopping, golf, fishing and partying...

I prefer CSL. You will never just want to stay at the resort. I recommend shopping the little local boutiques over going to the mall. Check out some of the great local restaurants - La Concha Beach Club; The Office; Cabo Wabo Cantina (Have some Waboritas); El Galeon (table-side caesar salad); El Pescador.
For partying, nothing beats spending the night partying at El Squid Roe - the party starts late and ends REALLY late!

I also recommend the sunset cruise, whale-watching & of course the fishing which is worldclass.

Have fun!

Cabo is the most romantic places I have ever been. My husband and I went twice last year and going again for 2 weeks in March. Go to the marina or El Mendo beach and rent a glass bottom boat to go to lover's beach (the arch).....this is a blast. If you have axcess to a car and u love sea food I would go to Art and Beer. It is on the way to Todas Santos.(if you do go to Todas Santos you must eat at the local vendor on the corner past Hotel California...they have the best fish tacos in the world my husband perfers the shrimp ones but they will knock your socks off) oh by the way bring cash to Art and Beer, they do not take plastic or travelers checks. It is located on mile marker 69. If you go for dinner make sure you leave as soon as the sun is setting. It is difficult to drive back to Cabo (no street lights, very dark and lot's of curves and wild animals). It is so worth the trip if you truly love seafood the ultimate experience...large drinks and a special surprize from the owner after dinner.
Snorkeling is fantastic, a must. Lots of beaches to do it on. Santa Maria is our favorite place, go in am when the excursion crowds are not there and the sea is smooth. A must is downtown Cabo at the Giggling Marlin & Cabo Wabo's for evening fun. The best bet to buy liquor to bring home (or drink at your hotel) is at the local grocery store. You can get it dirt cheap! Hope this helps...have fun.
