Rumors can do as they feel. I'll believe it when i see it

Well, I don't quite care, although it would kind of ruin the whole Harry Potter movie series, as well as the 6th and the possible 7th, because Emma's been the only, and original actress who's played Hermione ever since the very first film. But, if the new actress played just as well and looked similar, then I say why not?

I think my ex would be deeply sad though, he's quite obsessed with her. (Yeah, sad to say, there are 18 year olds out there who still lust after 14-15 year olds...) Also, I think there will probably be a fair number of teens, guys in particular, who will also be sad to see Emma leave the HP series.

Another note: don't forget that Emma is the youngest out of the trio, and she'll be at least 20 years old by the time the 7th movie is completed. She may not look the same by then, and the same goes for the others- Rupert and Daniel.

Good riddance. Ever since the third movie she's turned Hermione into a total bimbo that's waay out of canon. It's no longer Emma Watson as Hermione, it's Emma Watson as Emma Watson. What talent.

I have heard about that rumor and i really hope that doesnt happen!

I am so use to her being the character and if they picked a new person to play Hermione, it will just ruin it for me

Emma portrayed Hermione quite well and has been her for over half the Harry Potter series (and should still continue)

Seeing a new Dumbledore after the first one died made it weird for me even though they still looked about the same.

So if Emma was to stop and a new girl took the role....im afraid how that would impact everything

she is there in the fifth film in the order of phoenix which would release in 2007. but i think she will not be there in the 6th and 7th as she will not able to act a teenager when the last two movies will be released. she is 16 now.

what????? i didn't even hear about this rumor, i hope it is not true, because if it is it would be devastating to alot of hp fans. It is not the same having a different actor playing such an important character, that she has been playing for such a long time now.

Well, she's "attached" to the sixth, and that usually means there is some sort of agreement, usually a contract, that she will be in it. Considering that she has no other screen credits, I doubt she will drop out of the series at all.
