The People and Government of Iraq demanded their own form of justice for the evil he did them. It would not have been right for us to interfere in their justice.
In many societies, murderers are put to death.

It was neither right or wrong to execute Saddam Hussein.
This is not a question of morality. It is a fact of life.
It's nice to have your head in the heaven's but unfortunately thats not what life is like down here on earth in the basest of human instincts.
My question is, should the U.S. go after the leaders of other countries such as North Korea, Saudi Arabia, or Sudan for example, and turn their leaders over to their own people?
I wonder what would be the result if a foreign power came over here and "freed us" from our own government?
What would the jury decide then?
Was it right to execute Saddam Hussein? I guess it's just up to the person answering the question.

I agree with you he was a bad person. I am in no means on Saddams side but It is not the United States place to put judgment on him or invade his country for what he done. It is not okay to play God. We will all have to stand in final judgment one day including the people in our government that have stirred up a hornets nest in the middle east. They should have realized as long as he was in power he kept all the other countries in check. You would not hear about the president of Iran or all those other backwards country over there now. Just a thought though if a 143 people raised up againest the United States government what would Bush and the US government do to them? Any different than what Saddam done to perserve his nation? Just a thought

That's the American government laws. The laws are in place to benefit the government not the American people. Man has became so corrupted by Satan and that's why there is so much crap going on over here in America and our government is covering them up and making it sound like it's the other country that's doing the bad things. No, it's not our place to take someones life. If man will ever read the Bible and see what God this world would be a better place for everyone. But no that won't happen because man is so full of greed that they only think of themselves. But in my heart that's OK because when Jesus comes I know that I'm ready to leave this cruel world, and man who lives with greed will have to answer to God.

I really don't give one hoot about Saddam. What I do care about are the people of Iraq who lived in fear up until an hour ago that that monster would get loose and regain power somehow. He is dead and now they can begin to heal knowing he is dead and gone. It doesn't change the other problems of Iraq, but it took that mountain off of their back. God Bless those People.

Yes. It's not simply a case of an eye for an eye. This is an eye for thousands of eyes. The man was a monster, and the people who suffered under him passed a valid judgment. Justice is done.

It is better to remove the person who has shown the capacity to kill. To put them in prison does nothing to prevent them from killing again. It only limits them to other prisoners or guards. Also the cost of housing a person is just not worth it. I would empty death row every year.Liberals say it is wrong to kill a murderer but it's perfectly fine to kill an innocent baby helpless in it's mothers womb.

no, we shouldn't be killing people, it's not our place! Last time I checked there's only one God and I'm pretty sure he doesn't walk around in a bad suit sentencing people to death, and then make a huge mockery of it on television....
NObody should have to die like that
it's not our business to watch someone die or know every nasty detail
people's minds are so dumbed down now to think that it's ok to kill people and watch their deaths, just as long as someone else says it's ok
