Hi,
That is a tough Question to answer, only your Vet can tell you that, and even then he may not know either. It will depend on how she became Paralyzed, was it a Fall? Or is it a disease? These are the things that will decide whether or not she will get better, or worse.

Sorry, but nobody can answer this with out acting like they are know-it-alls. A vet would have to do a total work up before they could even give you a half answer and even they will not know if she will get better or worse or stay the same. Time and God will tell.

As for Feces Matting in the Hair, You should Move her inside and clip the hair around her Vents so this doesn't happen, and wash her around her Backside completely to keep her healthy. If she is not exhibiting Pain, I would not Euthanize her, but give her the chance to get better if she can, this is your Decision. Being the Owner of a Disabled Dog who is Partially Paralyzed, but she is still happy and plays as best as her Hind end will allow it. You can have a wheel chair made for her that will give her better mobility and increase her quality of life. I would not be so quick to kill her, give her a chance. Miracles do still happen.

God Bless
LMN

rabbits don't randomly become paralyzed, a traumatic injury must have occurred. Do you know what happened? I think you should call the vet and ask if the paralysis is permanent. I hope it isn't, but it could very well be permanent, especially if she had some type of injury to her spinal cord.

Guess you should have asked the vet that question while you were there. I would think it would depend on the reason she is paralyzed. Could be permanent or maybe not.

Generally that is a permanent thing. I would suggest having her euthanized in all honesty. I am sure it is not an answer that you want to hear, but I have worked as a vet tech and seen some awful things in my day. If her feces gets matted up in her hair, flies can and will lay their eggs in it... she will end up covered in maggots if this happens.

it will be a strong idea to take her to the vet, do you imagine this is common for a rabbit to pull this is legs? She might want to have a damaged lower back, damaged legs. She is in discomfort, i'm particular.
