You can't help being afraid of the unknown... however, Death is inevitable. It's going to happen to you no matter what you do. There is no avoiding it.

Therefore, make the most of your life, and accept Death when it eventually comes.

It's what you do between now and then that really matters. So, when you confront Death, it would be nice to glimpse back on the best bits of your life with some gratitude and happiness.

Why?

Here's the truth... no one really knows what happens after you die. The only way to know something, honestly, is to experience it for yourself. And since, no one has truly experienced death and came back to personally tell you what it's like, there's no way for you to know.

And if you're worried because you don't know: Don't be. There are a lot of things that we don't know. You don't know what will happen to you tomorrow... but you don't get scared of waking up the next day. Worry is a waste of time and energy. It does nothing but slow you down and distract you from what needs to be done.

The only thing you can do in this life is live it the best way you know how. This is the only chance you got at it... do it right.

Tray-Z is an idiot. Take him for what his advice is worth--less that nothing.
You need to get a Bible and read it. What's in it is truely astomishing. We just celebrated Christmas. Know what that is about? Read about it in the Bible. Them, find a church and go listen to what they have to say. Your good deeds in this life mean nothing, as far as using them to get into Heaven. The Bible specifically says that your deeds are as filthy rags to God, and the only way to arise into Heaven is through Jesus Christ, who is the Son of God. He took all of our sins upon himself when he died on that Cross. Why would he do that? Because God loves us and wants us to be with him in Heaven throughout eternity. We must accept Jesus as our Savior, or be put to eternal death. One way or the other. No in between. He is arisen and is waiting for us in Heaven, so we can live in a place made just for us by Him.
To ask your question means that you need Him to fill that empty spot in your life. He will lead you along life's path. Guaranteed.

It depends...

Do you have god in your life?
If you have been saved by him and have repented for what you have done and trust him to be your savior then you will - 100% sure - go to heaven!
If you don't you will just go down.(if you know what i mean) and will spend eternity in labor non stop.

Wouldn't you rather go to heaven and be happy?!?!?!

Find a church near you and talk to someone.

Once you accept Jesus to be your savior then you will feel assured that you will have a GREAT after life!

I am only 13 and have the grace of god. Now i am not sure about your past or how old you are or any thing but trust me...
If you aren't sure about what is going to happen PLEASE go and talk to a christian adult that will tell you about the good news that god has saved us!

If you do i hope to see you in heaven one day!!!!!

PLEASE TALK TO SOMEONE!!!

depending on what your religion is, i guess the "what happens to me after i die" is really subjective.

but if you are supposedly a free thinker, then i guess death to you should just mean "end of life".

but if you really are scared that you might be punished for your sins in your afterLife, then i suggest you turn over a new leaf and do more good deeds in your everyday living Life. :)

don't listen to tray-z. If you want a good life after death, become a God-beliver. if u don't know how, just talk to god he's alway's listning. be yourself when you talk to him, don't be like"oh holy father of heaven and earth" unless that is the words you are like i usually start my prayers with "hey god wats up?" then go into wats wrong or good in my life then u will go to a better place then you could ever imagine. it's called heaven, i don't know what's it like, but it's better then chocolate ice cream. by a lot and that's saying something

Its simple.

The more good u do, the better ur future no matter what.

the more bad u do, the worser.
its karma, For ex lets say u got sick because u ate something old. U got sick because u ate the old food. its action and result.
its the way of life, and no one can alter it. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction.

and dont go for that jesus crap

Du u think saddam will go to heaven if he repents his actions right before his death, after a life of killing thousands of people?
hell NOOOO!!

why? thinking of kicking the bucket soon?
okay, that was uncalled for, but why worry about in now unless you've lived a life that was so bad that you should be afraid...

I believe things just stop. No dreaming, no afterlife, no purgatory, etc. Just like it was before you were born. To some degree it's comforting.
