If he pukes it back up he might be allergic to them. You need to let the doctor know so she can give you a new prescription.

Call the doctor.
It's possible he's allergic to the flavoring. My brother and cousin were, same thing happened to them. They will give you a different medication.
He also could be allergic to the medicine itself. In which case, it's doing more harm than good, so a talk with the Doc is a good idea.
He may have contracted something else, or the infection may have spread. Again, talk to the doctor.
Basically, it's not right that he's puking up the meds, something is really wrong, and with little ones, you can't take any chances.
Good luck to your and your baby.

Try squirting it into his cheek, on the side of his mouth, rather than towards his throat. An ICU nurse suggested we do this with our 3 month old - don't know if it will work with a 10 month old, but maybe it's worth a try - and give him some juice or applesauce or yogurt afterwards to wash away the taste, if it's the taste that is causing him to gag.

depending on what it is and what flavor it is you can mix it with a tablespoon of applesauce or jelly.or an ounce of sweet juice just make sure he drinks it all. If worse comes to worse take him back to the doctor and ask for a single dose antibodic injection. Yes it will hurt but sometimes it is for the best to get a shot and cry once than to have to fight with him and make him cry several times a day for 10 days

What are you using to give him the meds? Could it be going in too quick? Is it on an empty stomach? Does he puke other things right now, too?

It takes 2 people. One holds their finger in the side of his mouth so he can't clamp shut. The other gives him the medicine. Worked for me.

Use the little dropper (squeeze thing). Squeeze it down the side of his cheek and then give a little quick gentle blow in his face and he will swallow.

If he continues to throw it up - he might be allergic to it.
