I don't like the new shawn.... I'm behind on the stories, but is marlena gone??? and i really liked mathew ashford.......and I just read lexi is gone too.........geez.....

Haven't watched since the 80's. Wanna hear my three favorite ways "Day's" writers write themselves Out of a corner?
Send a kid to summer camp and when she comes back she is 18 years old. (yet none of the other characters is any older. Its like a freakin' time warp man...)
Send all the characters to a deserted island and drop dead-end characters off a cliff (also characters played by actors with expensive contracts but NO compelling story lines...)
Take a good character and give them an "evil twin" to deal with. Villains are more fun than straight men, so getting double use out of a single actor saves money and makes great fun. The split screen scenes alone are priceless...
Of course, if all else fails, just have the characters all go to a party, a storm hits and the building collapses. Dead end characters beware! Salem's building inspector will approve ANYTHING...
(Examples of these?
"Hope" was a kid, came back as latin hottie Kristian Alfonso.
Bad guy Stefano Dimera kidnaps people to private islands every six months... That guy has more exclusive oceanfront property than all Bond villains combined.
Evil twins? Marlena had one. Tony Dimera had one... harder to remember someone who Didn't have one...)

It took me some time to get used to the new shawn, I think because of his story line right when he first came to days. Shawn was being a JERK and I don't think I would have even liked Jason Cook playing this part this Shawn made me sick! Marlena and Lexi are still on. They both had good roles today. It has actually been getting really good the past month or so. This week has been very exciting. If you can't watch it regualarly you might try DVR I love this and also it comes on Soap Network at 10 pm. and you can watch Monday- Friday on Soap net I don't know what time it starts but I know it is on Sunday.

I do not like the new shawn either! He looks to sad all of the time and he hardly ever smiles!
Marlena is not gone and neither is Lexie!
I really liked Matthew Ashford also--I believe he is on another soap but I do not know which one!

I don't like the new Shawn either. Why can't they keep the original characters? I don't like Belle either. Marlena was gone for a while but she is back. Lexie is not gone yet but I think she is going too. I just hope Bo and Hope don't leave us!!!

I'm not real crazy about the nuShawn either and I wish that they would get the other one back. Marlena isn't gone as a matter of fact she and John were remarried in Italy while looking for Stefano.Just today John was shot by E.J who turns out to be stefano's son. I read in Soap Opera Digest that the show has let the actress go that plays Lexie as well as the actors who play Bonnie, Patrick, and Tek. Hope also had her baby today and Bo found out that he is the father and E.J. took Sami hostage. I hope this catches you up a little.

Marlena is back...I don't like the new Shawn either...and I never liked the new Belle. Lexi was in today's episode, but Abe deserves better than her.

i agree i dont like the new shawn either and no marlena is not gone shes still in salem bell and clair live with her at the penthouse. bell should grow up if u ask me!
