No, Annie. Anyone who suggests that the world is going to end on 2012 is trying to fill your head with hokum.

It may end sooner or it may last another several billion years. Or it may, in fact, end in 2012. But anybody who claims to know a specific date either is self-deluded, or an outright fake.

Please listen to this: whenever you read or hear about theories relating to the end times, specific dates are always a red flag. Anybody who claims to know that the end will come on a certain date -- or in a certain fashion -- either is a fraud or is delusional.

One more thing: Nowhere does it say the first thing in the Bible about earthquakes destroying the world in 2003. That strikes me as another of those prophecy predictions that are always proven wrong. Anybody who comes up with specific dates based on the Bible is a fake -- including whatever yahoo predicted earth-shattering earthquakes in 2003.

Is this the Mayan calendar thing?

According to researchers 2012 is the end of a period and the beginning of another. The myth says is a time of transition and changes.

I don't think they ever meant to say the end of time or anything like that.

No. The Mayan calendar changes in 2012. The earth and all those who are ready will rise to 4th density.

If anyone on Yahoo! Answers had the answers about the mysteries of the universe, they'd be making big bucks working for Miss. Cleo's psychics.
