That I didn't email my friend back when he wrote in March.
That I wasn't there for him when no one else was there for him.
That I didn't do my yoga (I not only felt healthier, I felt happier when I used to do it).
That I didn't paint more & show my paintings more.
That I wasted too much time being negative and stressing myself out & less time just enjoying life & seeing how lucky I am.

The good news is 2007 is just around the corner. A whole new start. A chance to do all the things I wish I'd done. A few things I can't undo but it's ok. I can't really regret anything because actions have a domino effect. If I could go back in time & change one thing it would change other things & I wouldn't have ended up where I am now. There are some wonderful things in my life that happened this year & that I wouldn't give up for anything.

I think of them more as mistakes. I try to draw lessons from them and remind myself that I did the best I could do given my frame of mind, the external situation, the position of the stars, etc.
and I move on.

If I found a wall on my path, next year I'll try another route.

Peace

Not taking advantage of Hospice earler for my mother. And for not using more of their programs like the volunteers. I am so trapped now doing 90% of the caregiving with no help!
