There are so many to choose from ! Each have their own virtues, & benefits.
Rather than looking at "brands" , you should first figure out what your needs are.
For Instance:
If you're looking for a vehicle just to get you from point A to point B, & you don't need to have any other passengers: Honda Insight
If you need to seat more passengers, but don't care about Luxury or horsepower : Toyota Prius
If you want just luxury & performance, but don't care about price: go for the Lexus
If your a contractor, who wants somewhere to plug in power tools, when you're at a job site that doesn't have electricity, & you don't mind that your hybrid doesn't really get the best gas mileage: try a Chevy Silverado
Me ....I'm all for value, versatility, fun, comfort, & luxury: I love the Escape !
Besides all that, I'm an American, who would rather see profits go to a Homeland Auto Manufacturer
But you need to decide WHY you want a Hybrid & which one works best for YOU, before you research "brand"
Here's a comparison of the 4 that I mentioned:

All brands of Hybrid cars are a waiste of money. With the hydrogen cell batteries in the car if the gets struck by lightening which the chances are slim but if it happens the car and you are gone. And they cost so much that you would have to own it for 15 yrs for it to really pay for for its self.
