How would your life be like and what would you do with it?
Most creative and detailed answer will get the points be creative and have fun. People who came here to hate or spam will be turned to gold and then used as jewelry.
Lets assume that if you touch someone they don't die they just get really shinny (totally aware but unable to move). You can describe their life too if you want, but hey have fun. Also you can decide if you turn to gold if you accidentally touch yourself.

How about only turn what you WANT to turn into gold? Or maybe have gloves your wear except when you do want to do the midas thing? Gold would be come really common because there are a lot of things (common household trash for instance) that turning into a benign and usable substance like pure gold would help the enviroment. We'd be painting over the stuff it would be so "common". And nukes? I'd turn them all into gold too. Toxic waste. Politicians that raise taxes to stuff their pockets and pretend they care about us? Well let's just say I'd like to shake their hand :D

If everything I did turned out great? Hmmmm... When I had money, I thought in terms of big money. I almost bought a fighter jet once. Now that I am dirt poor, $20 is huge. I guess if I had the Midas Touch, my outlook on life would probably change. I tend to hang onto things and try and fix things that are broke, I might be more tempted to just throw out what doesn't work and buy new. If I were successful, I'd teach others to be successful as well. I love teaching. Not very creative I'm afraid, but there it is.

i couldnt live i could never touch the ones i love, i could never hold some1s hand, kiss the lips of my dear lover, touch my doggy, my parents, i mean it would be really kool for a while but u couldnt touch no1 wel u could they just couldnt move. and that would hurt me too much to even do that and i would burst out into tears and cry every day to get rid of the power, and my life would never ever be the same. I would probably be richer, but i wouldnt be able to do all the things to that specail some1 and same goes with family and friends i would never want the stupid power! money is not worth it to loose all that,
