What happened to Adult Swim on Cartoon Network?

Why isn't it showing Futurama or Family Guy anymore. Where is Adult Swim?

They will be showing Futurama until the new episodes start on Comedy Central, this is old news. But it will still be airing for a little while on Adult Swim for the moment.
Basically it comes down to the fact that Comedy Central ponied up the money to make new ones and Williams Street did not.
P.S. you may be confused. You are asking this question on a Friday night, when they do not have Adult Swim programming. Also this weekend, Adult Swim has programmed special blocks for the New Years Holiday weekend. According to the Schedule, both shows will air again on January 1st, 2007.

Basically Adult Swim is still there like it has been since it went on weekdays. It's just that they were and still are showing Marathons for the week before new years. They, along with mostly every channel that isnt a news channel, do this every year as a way to take a little vacation before starting up the new year with fresh new episodes and shows. Just wait til new years is over and so you know it, you'll be watching reruns of Family Guy and Futurama for the 200th time in no time.

They're doing a bunch of different Marathons for the holiday. The one for new year's eve is Metalopolypse. After that it should run the regular shows.
