those dont translate directly.about 100 hours of movie but far far more than that in audio. tens of thousands audio (minutes).

Umm...maybe 2400 minutes because the 30 GB iPod can have 40 hours of video and 40 hours equal 2400 minutes?

I believe that 30 minutes in Great Brittan is the same as a half hour in America. However, 30 GBP is closer to 59 USD if you're talking in monetary terms. I hope I have been helpful to you.

well i never heard time being told in GB but i know GB stands for the size of a computer hard drive and also for computer memory or ram

That all depends on the format of the media. Are we talking MP3, wav, wmv, something totally different?

depends on many factors, i'm not sure if you're talking about storing "Video" or "audio"

but the quality is a factor, as you can store more if you do it at a lesser quality.
