Why I can't record data in a DVD+R?

Because I bought a new internal dvd recorder and I can just record ina dvd -r

DVD-R and DVD+R use different ways to record data on the disc. Most DVD recorders can read (under some constrains) both formats, but they can write in only one .

So, buy blank DVD-R discs and you are all set.
