Has anyone ever had lots of things on your mind but you can't quite sort out the different things you are thinking about, out into categories..It's weird, like you can think but it's like you jump from one thing to another and you never stay long enough on that certain topic to think about in your head so when you end up wanting to know exactly what you're thinking of. You can't tell, you can't say it and you don't know. Then you begin to doubt yourself and wonder about things until you're all confused. Sometimes thinking too much isn't a good for you.

Yes. Our brain needs rest too. Meditation is good training to quiet the mind for a bit. The world is such a busy place these days and so many things to do, it's hard to make the mind quiet. But it can be a prelude to a panic attack and just plain making us anxious and edgy. Not good on the body.

Sounds like you are overwhelmed. Make an appoinment with a good theripist who can help you sort out your problems. You may even be experienceing some symptoms of a real problem such as manic-depressive behavior. Nip it in the budd..and find someone to talk to. You are also being having compulsive thoughts. If therapy does not sound good to you, than find someone you trust to help you sort out your thoughts and feelings.

Yes, I have had this too. I try to center myself to regain my focus. It can't be good to be thinking all willy-nilly all the time.
