Pretty literally everything. Even those areas where low tech is the whole point, such as historical reenactments, the people have cell phones buried in the folds of Elizabethan gowns, often enough. And the materials and tools used to make the garb and the rest of the stage-crafting was probably done with modern technology. There are computers running sewing machines, for crying out loud! There's a computer inside the newer washing machines!

Most home computers, by number, are used chiefly as Internet tools. And once you say Internet, again you have to say pretty literally everything. Name one thing that is not being enhanced in some pretty direct way by the use of the Internet? Again, those Ren Faire costumers bought most of their fabrics and trims on-line, and they all keep in touch by email, just like everyone else you know.

Like I said, the applications are pretty much everything. Anything you want.
