A fashion/beauty editor for a good magazine in New york: such as Allure, Seventeen or Cosmogirl.
This is what I'm going to do, I'm going to join the newspaper club in high school, I'm going to get good grades, I'm going to NYU to pursue my dream of being an editor, while I'm in college I'm going to get an internship.

Then, how long will it take for me to be a fashion/beauty editor for Seventeen, Cosmogirl, or Allure magazine?!

It will probably take you several years, depending on how good of an opening you can catch in New York. Sometimes, you can start really big as an assistant to an editor. Other times, you start as low as the organizer of the closet where the model outfits are held. Be sure to be constantly open to getting good connections, though. It's not always about what you know, but about who you know. I hope that this helps you! (btw, you have a great plan for getting to your goal!)

Journalism is a very competitive field. The pay isnt that great unless u work at the very top. Be prepared to work crappy hours and for crappy pay.

NYU's communications major is very good but some others are Boston University, Syracuse University and UNC chapel hill. Good luck. If u want to go to grad school, Id go to Columbia University School of Journalism.

the key is getting a great internship. Use your enthusiastic personality to get into the most prestigious one. Hopefully the internship will turn into a job, and work your way up the ladder. I believe you'll do it because of your plans above. It is great to see someone go after their goal and have a great plan.

depends how badly you want it, how hard you work at it, how good at it you are, etc. But good luck! You should be able to do it a few years after the internship
