Hehe...
There's so-called "pop-punk", but it's constantly getting jammed together with emo, and truthfully, the two are so similar that it's almost impossible to discern which is which. In my opinion, both are crap. I like punk, but real punk- old school. The Ramones, The Sex Pistols, Sham 69, The Damned, The Clash, The Stooges, MC5, The Velvet Underground... MOST of the "new generations", however, prefer the aforementioned crap, it seems.

I am 23, and I love punk...but not punk like the little kiddies consider "punk" like Blink 182, My Chemical Romance...that stuff is straight up rubbish!!!...its not even punk. I love old school punk...The Misfits, The Clash, Agent Orange, Stiff Little Fingers, Business, Fear, Black Flag, GBH...thats real punk. I love punk so much I have "punk rock" tattooed on my wrists. I am an old school punk fan for life

I know a couple people who still listen to The Exploited, The Germs, etc. We still go to punk shows, same skanking, same circle pits. It's not dead yet. :]
