Absolutely. We made him and we broke him. His followers are not going to like us any more after this fact. I hope for the best for our troops. This did not have to happen now, if ever. It could have waited, but as one person suggested, Bush did not want him testifying at his own Impeachment trial.

In the very short term I believe they may be. It's hard to say though. Is there really any more danger possible then being in a foreign country where several thousand well armed and trained people are actively trying to kill you even if it means they themselves must die?
There may be a few violent attacks in the coming days that would not have otherwise occured. However I think that overall, the death of Saddam might actually breath life into those who support change in Iraq. Just maybe, and this is wishful thinking, it might inspire groups of people to rise up and demand that the violence in their country stops.

The only reason our Troops have been in danger at all is not due to the terrorists. Hell our Fathers fought much worse.
The true danger is two fold. It is an unwillingness and apprehension by our Leaders to fight terrorism the way it needs to be, with Overwhelming Force. They are wrongly intimidated by Political Correctness and World Opinion.
Also by the Pussification of the Media and general American Society.

The danger level should be about the same. Saddam's loyalists long ago realized they would never get him back into office. So, they are just fighting their own fight with or without Saddam.
Naturally, some terrorists may use this excuse to do something crazy and give Democrats more ammunition to demand we stop fighting them.

No. No one liked him. Remember how he treated his
own people? They have not forgot and are glad to see
him now out of the picture. So, quit worrying about it.
