first check your coil to make sure it spits a spark.. next check your distributor and make sure the shaft is turning..the rotor.. if you are getting fire to the coil but no spark.. then thats your problem.. look for the simple things first.. start at the battery and go forward.. you will find it..

Your car has a distributerless ignition system which eliminates alot of the old problems but gives you some new ones. Your coil pack and ignition module which the coil pack sits on top of can be easily tested with a simple digital multimeter. Take it to your parts store, an AutoZone if you have one and ask for the testing specs for your car. Most likely one of the two will not be within the specified range and your problem will be solved. If it is not then get it to a competent mechanic to diagnose it further. It's worth paying the mechanic rather than guessing and replacing parts until you get it right. Good luck.

maf has no effect on spark. It reads air flow for proper fuel mixture. 92 is obd 1 so you need a scanner for that or some one who knows how to get the codes from the computer. The paper clip method is used. If you have a crankshaft position sensor orcamshsft position sensor they are highly suspect in no spark cases. You may have one or the other or both or more than one of each.
