If it was not for President of the United States of America George Walker Bush, Saddam Hussein would still be in power today as a Dictator President of Iraq and would still be murdering his own people. There are Iraqis all over the world and here in the United States of America who suffered over 30 years under Saddam Hussein Regime.
Although the Republican Party support President George W. Bush for putting his job on the line so the Iraqi people could have freedom and democracy, Democrats are showing little compassion for the Iraqi people.
The citizens of the Republic of Iraq suffered under Saddam Hussein for over from 1979 to 2003 and there are Iraqis in Iraq who are extraordinary grateful that President of the United States of America George W. Bush put his job on the line (which could have cost him the 2004 Presidential Election to Senator John Kerry) in order to have freedom and a chance for democracy. Today in Iraq, the economy is growing, schools are being built so the future Iraqis will be educated, and the Iraqi Military is growing.
Democrats need to give the Iraqi people a helping hand even if they are against President Bush decision to go to war with Iraq in the first place. These Iraqis suffered so much for over 30 years under a ruthless and uncompassionate are uncaring dictator and Democrats and Republicans need to stop being like the Boston Red Sox (Democrats) and the New York Yankees (Republicans) and start being like the infielders and outfielders of the same baseball team who work together on the same team and help the Iraqi people move towards democracy, move towards have a strong military, and work towards Iraq and the United States of America being allies working together like infielders and outfielders on the same baseball team. Although a overwhelming majority of Americans do not believe we should never been there in the first place, Saddam Hussein needed to be removed from power and if it was not for the United States of America and the United Kingdom and their allies, NOBODY (including the United Nations) would have gone into Iraq and Remove Saddam Hussein from Power.
In closing, I want to leave you with a message from Simon Wiesenthal. Wiesenthal is a Holocaust Survivor and during his lifetime after World War II, he was a Human Rights Activist. He believed the reason why the United States of America went to war in Iraq was “"The allies do not seek to conquer Iraq but rather Iraq but rather to confront a dictator who has used weapons of mass destructions and committed genocide against his own people. Adolf Hitler came to power in 1933, but for six years the world did not act. Has he been taken seriously then, the lives of innocent millions may have been spared." I am for sure that Wiesenthal believes that if Adolf Hitler was taken seriously, World War II may have been prevented and the Holocaust may have never occurred and the history of the world would have been altered forever.

No WMD, nothing to do with 911, and the US shouldn't have to be the world's policeman. But since he was overthrown and caught, it's only fair that he went to trial for the murders of thousands of his people and be judged for it. After all if you caught a murderer, you wouldn't let him go out of prison would you. Well there are exceptions like OJ but I digress.

First thought was "So what?".
Second thought was "Not going to stop the violence."
Third thought was "I want a grilled cheese sandwich now."
And here I sit, enjoying my grilled cheese and getting easy points for everyone asking the same goddamn "Is he dead yet?" question..
