I just think of that when around babies, like everything(balloons, signs, etc.) is pink for girls and blue for boys. I don't really care if pink is for girls and blue is for boys, i mean it doesn't really matter, girls wear blue and some guys wear pink, girls wear pink, boys wear blue

Why is it offensive? It's been going on for so long it's like saying that referring to the color of the sky as "blue" offends you and you feel the color should now be called "quartz". It's there to tell apart young babies that you can't tell whether it's a boy or a girl. Trust me, have a kid and have it be called the wrong gender a couple hundred times, you'll be slathering it in gender friendly colors. I have never understood why assigned colors are offensive. It's used as a tool.

You shouldn't feel offended by this. In General, the american culture has simply adapted this as the norm. Its not something someone just thought of and put a label on. Its accepted by the media so that just makes it popular and OK to believe. But its not trying to make you feel bad or inferior. If this is something you truly don't believe in, then raise your own family differently and buy your son a pink blanket and your daughter a blue dress. It really truly just depends on if YOU buy it or not. And if you dont, dont sweat it.

It's nothing to obsess about. It's simply the traditional colors used symbolizing your gender. Guys can wear pink and girls can like blue. No big deal.

It's not something to get worked up over...I think that it's just how the color suits the gender, that's all. Not to separate them, just what suits what best. And yes, I do think that pink is a girly color.
