Yes when I was a kid, to be honest the scene where his dad dies still makes me cry to this day and I'm 20.

Yeah I was like 6 when I saw it and it made me really sad when the dad died and then his uncle was really mean to him. It was really sad when the hyienas started a stampede and little simba was stuck on a tiny branch like he was going to die.

Just a little, Bambi was the movie that hurt more...even though we never saw what happened to his mom, man that's just sad

I saw it in imax & I cried at the part where Simba's Dad dies and he's trying to wake him up.

i was really young when i saw it and i didnt cry during it. probably because i didnt understand all of it. at the time. but i still really liked the movie

What got to me was when Simba watched his father fall into
the stampede....It was soo sad!!! (reaches for tissue box)
