I posted this question earlier in the Singles and Dating and I got even more confused...lol...but here's the deal...
My ex boyfriend and I still are casual aquaintances for about a year now. Last week for Christmas, he got me a gift as he says "just because we're still cool". He got me these little boxers boyshort and cami top to sleep in. He says that he thought they were a "cute gift" but I think the gift was something I might have gotten from him if he was STILL my boyfriend. BTW, I didn't think to get him anything if you're wondering. Anyways, was his gift a sign that he wants to hook up again?

Of course, the easiest thing is to just ask him. And I did right off the bat...and he said no...they're just something I thought were cute. Plus, we got some "benefits" but it's nothing serious (i think)

Well it's certainly a suggestive gift, maybe "test the waters" and see subtle is the key though does he have a new girlfriend? the suggestive gift and the we're still cool definitely say something by all means you should look into it but subtlety and tact are your friends in this situation.

After a year of being "casual" aquaintances it seems a little odd, but you're not going to find out unless you ask. That is...if you REALLY want to even go there.

Ok, casual doesn't mean "benefits"!! What a nice, sweet guy to buy you something, even though he's basically a BC. Most guys would not do that, and shame on you for not getting him something!! ;)

He basically retains in contact with you because he needs to have casual sex with you. Why else would he be putting round you after a year? frequently, at the same time as couples split, shortly thereafter, an open invitation for sex nonetheless continues to be, and it really is acknowledged through adult men as an complete life bypass for your vagina. you're saying that you probably did not supply him a present. nicely, you recognize what's going to placed a grin on his face. It would not should be severe. that's referred to as casual sex.

not at all...the gift was just a sign that says...wear this and I'll take it off you....

I mean that is what people do for christmas...buy gifts...for loved ones...friends...family...etc.....etc...

It's just a simple gift. I wouldn't read anything into it.

That kind of gift is a little personal....
and, yes, you should ask him

Just ask him if there is any meaning to his gift.
Then you'll know.
