On a personal level, reality sometimes meets my expectations. But I think reality in general doesn't meet my expectations of an ideal reality for everyone. Why are there pedophiles, rape, cancer, auto accidents, etc? It's not an ideal reality, and in that respect I'm pretty disappointed about the structure of reality. Too much randomness and genuine evil can easily dictate how things turn out.

MY reality is dependable all the time - because I know what's going on. (It's a Spritual/God-thing) If I screw up - I know it. And there are many consequences that follow. The WORLD'S reality - is a joke. I pay little attention to it. (sinking sand) Though I live in "Rome" and I do as the Romans do - I pay my taxes and I take care of business however, the rules of my reality involve much more - it's SPIRITUAL. and the responsibility for that reality is deeper and more meaningful and brings me much joy!

bits of both. I think having expectations that I KNOW will not be fulfilled is the hardest thing. Being realistic makes my life much more even.

Yes, it does when you keep your expectations low. I've found that although difficult, keeping ones expectations low increases the likelyhood of exceeding them. Odd, I know. :)
