How do you get certain videos you want playable for mp3 player?

I have a sansae250, was trying to download videos i liked off of youtube, but they were flv files, and my mp3 doesn't support that file. it supports: AVI, Mpeg 1, 2, 3, and 4, DVD, VOB, WMV. Help please!
