A long time ago (1970's while in college), I had a very mild looking petite girlfriend who told me: If you are going to cuss somebody out, make it memorial. Don't say the same old thing they have heard hundred of times.
I came up with KSB (instead of something like SOB).
Have spelled out that term (KSB) to people for years - you have to see their faces as they visualize what it means. And then, they say something like...xxxx!! I didn't mean to p*** you off.
Have never had to tell anyone a 2nd time.
It also helps, to not go around cussing. That way, they do not expect you to say anything bad. Have seen one person, almost fall out of their chair when I called her a KSB.
