Actually Yahoo! Answers is more entertaining than both game systems put together.

Just based on hardware the PS3 is way better. It has a cell proceser witch is better a processing multiple commands, which means graphics will look pretty everywhere, not just the character. The PS3 and 360 are tied with RAM. The ps3 has 8 USB ports (lot's of accessories) and it has a motion sensor on the controller. Also the controller has trigger like buttons that are pressure sensitive. The PS3 uses blu-ray technology which allows more storage in disks and higher definition. The 360 might be the worst system though, it doesn't have a motion sensor, which means it has limited gameplay.

Technical specifications are all well and good, but there's one simple fact that can't be ignored:
You can't buy a PS3 right now, and you probably won't be able to until June.
If you're looking for a system to play Right Now, then go with the Xbox 360, it's sitting right on store shelves right next to a bunch of really nice games.

ps3 all the way, xbox 360 games look a bit worse only because they had a one year head start.
ps3=20gb=$500
ps3=60gb=$600
360=20gb=$400
bluray in stores and in ps3=around $1000
xbox live for 5 years=$250
ps3 online free
xbox hd-dvd drive=100
ps3 has more things for a cheaper price than the xbox 360

DONT BUY A PS3 THEY ARE GARBAGE. 360 IS BETTER AND IT HAS BETTER GRAPHICS. TRUST ME I HAVE BOTH AND THE 360 GAMES ALL SAY IT SUPPORTS 1080I GRAFICS WHICH IS THE BST WHILE THE PS3 SUPPORTS IT BUT MOST GAMES COME IN 720. GET A 360.

the wii has "hands on" contoler which conects to your wrist witha tinny little string, when you hand gets sweaty your controler comes out of your hand the string smashes through you tv.
