They say Travelling broadens the mind. If she is not just staying in hotels or at resorts then she will learn that peoples of the world exist on this earth so differently to us and that can only help with empathy and understanding. I've had friends not travelled overseas until their 30's and they didn't realise how much they have learnt and enjoyed travel, it's definitely a bug you can catch!

No, I've been to all of the continents except Antarctica myself. I have big plans to travel there someday too...I like winter a lot!

Adventure is good; it's wonderful that your friend has had the means to experience so much by such a young age already!

Does your friend feel exasperated by all this traveling? Is she being dragged around by parents on business or is she enjoying herself, learning about other cultures and becoming well versed at a young age? Travel can offer a lot of "life" lessons

You can never travel too much. That is good, she is a 13 year old that is very cultured, because she has gone to many places and experienced many cultures and countries. It is good to travel to many places because it can open your mind and be an educational, fun and cultural experience!
