NO, NO, NO, NO. H to the No! I had the worse teachers as a small child growing up in ALABAMA. I could never understand much past my addition and times tables. Then, I had the nerve to be caught up in our nations desire to have THE USA change over to the METRIC SYSTEM. New books were printed and we were struggling even more. Parents were tearing their hair out 'cause very few people could grasp this concept -eventually, the USA threw this idea into the sea of forgetfulness, but the damage had already been done to me and to many other students. I became afraid of math. I struggled in Algebra - could never understand why I had to "figure out a missing 'x' in a number. I did get the concept of geometry - but only after failing it and taking it in summer school. TO this day - I hate math. I know it's a fear that is stoopid - but I honestly believe that I was put upon as a youngster and nobody was able to rescue me from my fear and it perpetuated itself into my adult life. It's a shame.,

Yes I am a mathematician, well okay I am a music major, but my college minor is math. I love algebra more than that graphing! But it all goes together, so I accept the graphing too! Curse that y equals x to the second blah blah. Yes I am good at it, but it can get on my nerves. I find that listening to soft music while doing it helps. P.S. I know that algebra involves graphing, but my favorite part is factoring. I love the quadratic!

I believe that I am. Never got less than A in any of my math classes - is that enough to say that I am good at math? Well, I guess it depends on your definition of "good."

It depends on the type of math, I pretty good with algebra and basic math equations, but I suck at geometry and calculus.
