I'm a die hard Louisville fan and Kentucky are our in state rivals.
Hate them with a passion!
However it was really cool to see an underdog from the state go to Nashville and kick butt!
Especially against Tommy Bowden and Clemson.
Any time we can get exposure to our state and our players, right on!
Most of those kids are from inside the state. Woodson will be an NFL draft pick when all is said and done. Another awesome QB is the backup Curtis Pulley. Watch for him also.
Overall, as good a bowl game as you will see all year, considering they aren't among the NCAA elite!

I think it is totally awesome for this Ky. team to win this game. They haven't been to a bowl game in about 12 years and haven't won a bowl game in 22 years(1984) and was beaten by Clemson in the Peach Bowl . So again I say it is AWESOME.

I am a UK fan and went to the game yesterday....
Like one of the UK players said, on paper Clemson wins this game 50-0.
But of course, games are played on the field. UK had tremendous fan support there, it was their first bowl game in 7 years, after so many down seasons, they wanted this one bad and went out and got it done!

Pretty sweet. I like it when the underdog wins. Especially one who has not won a bowl since 1985 or however long it has been.

I thought it showed the talent of the so-called minor teams is right up there with the major teams. Small programs don't equate to lesser talent any longer.
