Hillary or Al Gore.

John Mcain is a republican and since Bush plains on putting more troops into Iraq the nation will still hate the republican party.

Of the names you listed only Hillary Clinton has the experience and support base to become President. Presidential campaigns are incredibly expensive and Hillary has already gone on the campaign trail to raise money. Plus, except for his sexual activity Bill Clinton was a popular president, some of that good will will transfer over to his wife. However, it will be easy to paint Hillary as a shrew, she will be popular with women, but a lot of men will clue into her hurt and betrayal against Bill making her into a "man hater." Hillary has a lot of experience because she tried to be a "co-president." Congress hated her for doing that and she got a lot of bad reactions from it. She calmed down and assumed the roll of a good First Lady and she supported her husband to the bitter end of his presidency. By doing that she proved that she can play along and is a good party member. That will earn her a lot of good will in the Democrat Party. However, her seeming incapability of controlling her husband and not being able to satisfy him will be a big weight on people's minds.

Barack Obama is a newborn babe in the political world. He is only popular because he is black and he was a key speaker at the last Democratic Convention. He doesn't have the experience that Hillary Clinton has. I expect that he will announce an exploratory committee and start raising funds for a presidential bid, but he will be doing it only to give him a shot in six years or to get him in as Vice President, which will make him the most experienced person after the democratic president. Unfortunately racial prejudge is alive and well in the US, and that will hurt him. Since Hillary is white she has the inside track.

John Edwards had to wait until the lull between Christmas and New Years day to announce his candidacy. He is a strong runner, but he probably won't win, and if any other popular democrat enters the race then Edwards will lost in the crowd.

The dark horse is Al Gore. He has the experience and he almost beat George Bush Junior. His biggest problem was that he wasn't cool enough. But, he has worked a lot on changing that image. He established the Current Network of hip broadcasts similar to a more organized UTube. This will help put him into the minds of the youth. His film “An Inconvenient Truth” has also given him a lot of exposure and every day more and more scientists are coming out in support of Global Warming. This will be a major issue in the next campaign and no one will be on top of that issue more than Al is. He has appeared a few times on the Tonight Show to improve his image. He still has the stuffed shirt, but now he is looking cooler. He isn't so serious, and actually laughs and makes jokes (successful ones unlike John Kerry who ruined his chances with one "joke"). He has not announced and he has said that he is not interested, but he hasn't closed the door. If "the good of the nation" requires him to run then he will. If Al Gore runs then he will seem to be the calm person vs. Hillary. He also has the advantage of being a white male. Whites may be becoming a minority, but few illegals are going to try and vote in the next election.

Personally I would support Al Gore before any of your choices and then as a reduced second Rudy Guliani. His handling of 9/11 made him famous and repaired all the bad image he had as mayor of New York (which wasn’t very much—he was very popular). He will go down as one of New York's greatest mayors, and if it wasn't for New York’s term limits there is a strong chance that he could still be mayor. I don’t think that Rudy Guliani will enter the presidential race instead he will try to be elected to Congress first so he can get experience on the national level. The best case scenario for him would be to take over Hillary’s Senate Seat after she resigns, then try for president.

Either John Edwards or Rudy Giuliani. Giuliani did a good job after 9/11 and John Edwards has more political experience.

If Hilliary Clinton wins I'm leaving the country. I don't think that we are ready for a woman president. She sure didn't use any common sense staying with Bill Clinton.

I think that it is actually going to be a very close race, yes people say we need something new, like Hillary or Obama, but you have to understand the Southern Republican point of view, (not that i am saying that i am either southern or republican) but I do live in the south, most people here think that Hillary is just evil (no joke I have seen someone say their kid was allergic to Hillary) but also people may not be ready for something different, I understand that times have changed, and that race and sex do not matter in most people's eyes, but there are still those people that believe that Bush did something good in Iraq, and that he was a good president. That being said it will probably end up being an old white guy, because that is what it always is, me personally I plan to vote for Obama, but Ron Paul, Giuliani, or Edwards will probably win. Maybe there will be another poll error. Hanging Chad anyone??

Giuliani would pull in a lot of different votes, more so if Clinton ran in opposition.

However, old McCain will probably win.
I will say a Republican will win presidency since most were surprised by this recent "takeover", more republicans will be out to vote for President.

I would love to see any of the first three on your list. I think having the Clintons back in the White House again because I think Bill Clinton would be a great first gentleman. I would really just like to see how a woman would put her imprimatur on the presidency.
