Why are there so many Americans on this site when it is UK & Ireland? It matters not when it is a general question but some things are so different...whats the point?

Ok...just to confirm...yes...we Brits do actually realise that America is bigger than the UK...but my page says at the top 'Yahoo answers UK & Ireland' forgive me for thinking that meant UK & Ireland...silly me!!!!! if everyone on here has different headings there is obviously a prob and that answers the question

When you go to the Yahoo answers homepage you can either choose to see all English questions or just the questions from your country. If Americans choose all English questions they'll still see questions from the UK and Ireland site, if they choose only USA questions only then they won't see questions from other countries.

The default setting is to see all English questions, a lot of people don't change it so that's why you get a lot of Americans answering your questions.

I didn't know this was a UK & Ireland site. It does seems like there are a lot more Americans on the site.

The Yahoo icon showing on my site is the US one, yet your question about this being a UK and Ireland site is here. Maybe there's some crossover of the questions since it's predominately English language questions?

Perhaps understanding that Yahoo puts all the English Speaking Questions together would make you seem not quite so unthinking.....
You ACCESS this section in your area through Yahoo UK and Ireland, you aren't segregated away from others....

I'm pretty sure this site is for the US and the UK. You might want to check because in most cases they put the US and the UK on the same site due to language.

some human beings in basic terms sign in right here whilst they are in a foul temper, they think of anybody else is as depressing as them and that they think of each question is meant as an insult. i've got asked completely functional questions right here and gotten no longer something yet a collection of folk insulting me. do no longer enable human beings get to you, they are not worth it. through how, in basic terms a sprint bit friendly advice - till now you place up your question verify the class. Your question is appearing in 'Lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered' (in all risk because of the fact your question incorporates the notice 'perplexed'). I replied your different question and tried to describe why individuals are answering your questions, i wish my answer helps you.

The points have got to go to Crispeater. One thing though, mine always defaults to UKIE and I prefer to answer All English Questions.

This is the US site. But I see Australians and Indians too. I really don't know what's going on.

What is the point in attacking Americans?
We are all human and we all breathe the same air.
