If I've learned one thing in life it's that things generally happen for the best. It may be hard for you to see that from where you are viewing things now. But give it time. Meanwhile do whatever grieving you need to. Cry if you have to. Lean on friends for support. Most importantly, care about and take care of yourself. Don't just spend your time moping. Get out and live your life. A year from now you will look back on this and know there was a good reason why this happened now. Trust that it will be like that. Best of luck to you.
"You are a child of the universe,
no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you,
no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore be at peace with God,
whatever you conceive Him to be,
and whatever your labors and aspirations,
in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams,
it is still a beautiful world.
Be cheerful.
Strive to be happy."

the best thing to do is take care of yourself and not let yourself go. making yourself fat and ugly will just make u feel worse about yourself. take time to find out things about yourself, things you might have forgotten over the years because you were so concentrated with your boyfriend. you probably can do better but dont rush into another relationship, but when u do get a really hot guy and make sure your ex sees you. itll be even better if hes with his non hot boyfriend at the same time. buena suerte

well, this happens to nearly everyone, gay and straight. Release it to the Universe by an act of will. It won't be easy and it won't be a one time deal -- but you can do it over time. Remember that you are special and that you loved. Show your love to others, and when you are sad cry. Refuse to be angry that he is happy elsewhere (that way lies horror).
Time heals many things, and over a few months you will feel better and better until it is all ok.

Don't tread at that. Just be with your friends and family in this time it's the good time to cure this tornment. Don't worry another one will come remember there a plenty of fish in the sea, that's sound corny but everybody lives by it.

It will take time. Talk with friends to get over him, spend time with friends for emotional support, and above all, you'll need to find someone else to get over him.

Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do about this except wait for time to heal. Maybe just try and convince yourself that your friends are right about him. I hope things turn out ok.
