Donald Westlake's Dortmunder series has some hilarious interludes with the regulars at the O. J. Bar & Grill. The moments are brief but a riot when they start arguing about topics they don't understand.
My favorite is when one of them is suffering a bloody nose and one the others is trying to stop the bleeding with a tourniquet. Sorry, no pictures.
Other sources to consider: Callahan's Crosstime Saloon series by Spider Robinson and Terry Pratchett's "The Colour Of Magic" & "Guards! Guards!" Pratchett's character Sam Vimes (featured in "Guards! Guards!") is fighting to stay sober in a madhouse of a city with more than a few stubbles along the way. Pratchett's Discworld does have an illustrated guide and I think it features a few drawing of people enjoying libations. Both are Sci-Fi, and funny.
