Aren't chicks baby birds? A pregnant one would indeed be very special.

If you mean pregnant women, YES! They are creating new life! Nothing more special than that :)

They aren't more special than other people but i think people should definately show them some consideration i.e give up your seat on a bus or train for a pregnant lady same as you should do for old or disabled person.

No, but some think that they are. We are all (and should be) equally special. I may be giving birth to projects that save the world, but no one can see that by looking at me.

depends how you feel. I think they are important becase they are holding a baby in them. But this does not mean they have the right to "special things" They are just women. But women that hold the future. good question...

Yes. Especially if you're the one who made them pregnant. They're doing a heck of a lot of work...and they deserve a bit of attention while they CREATE YOUR OFFSPRING.

Buy her flowers. And don't tell her she looks fat. Honestly.

No we're all equal.

But being pregnant; I get better treatment. People are more polite; (ie. holding doors open, carrying things for me etc.)

But that doesn't make us 'more special'.

We are special in different ways. I for one am special because I am pregnant with twin boys due in Apr.

Of course! They are carrying the future inside of them.

no, but they are rightfully exempt from having to do some things(such as working late, lifting heavy things) simply because it could kill the baby or cause stress that could potentially harm the innocent child within them.
